Friday Fun Facts – Oct 8th

Saturday is the Holy Savior Academy Tenth Anniversary Celebration. The festivities begin at 11:00AM and end around 1:00PM in front of the school. The time will be spent enjoying fantastic music, fun games, good food, and wonderful friends. Hopefully, you will be able to join us as we celebrate ten years of excellence!

On Monday, we celebrate Columbus Day so there is no school! On Tuesday and through the rest of the week, we will have our Scholastic Book Fair. On Tuesday, the children will go into the Book Fair area with their teachers to preview all of the books that are on sale. On Wednesday, the children in grades PreK, 1, 2, 3, and 5 will be going to the fair to purchase books. On Thursday, the children in grades K, 4, 6, 7 and 8 will go to the fair to purchase their books. On Friday, the children who have not had a chance to purchase or who want to buy additional books will come into the fair before its ends at the end of Friday morning.

October is the month of Mary and the Rosary. We also honor and celebrate our Lady of Fatima. On Friday, October 15, we will have a Living Rosary at 1:00PM in Church to honor Mary, our Mother. All of the children will be participating in praying the Rosary and singing. Hopefully, you will be able to join us in person or in Church or via Live Stream.

Our parents and all within our school community are so wonderful and so helpful! I would like to “Thank” all who volunteer and are always available to do whatever is necessary to make things happen. This week, we needed help with the Anniversary Celebration and the Book Fair and thankfully our parents were there! What a wonderful community we have. We are so very blessed.
Have a wonderful long weekend, and a fantastic week ahead.

God bless each of you,

Mrs. Carol Woodburn
