Next week we celebrate Thanksgiving! There is so much for all of us to be “thankful” for especially the gift of each other. We are all so blessed to be part of the Holy Savior Academy Community.
Please remember if you have your child vaccinated, please send a copy of the card to Mrs. Pinto. You can email her a copy at dpinto@holysavioracademy.com. Also, please remember if you are going away on vacation out of the tri-state area, please notify Mrs. Pinto.
Monday begins our annual Christmas “Giving Tree!” What a wonderful way for us to remember those in need especially at Christmas time! Parents must sign a permission slip for their child/children to pick an Ornament Gift Tag. Students can pick a tag from the Christmas tree, purchase the gift printed on the ornament tag, bring in the unwrapped gift and place it under the tree with the tag attached. Thank you in advance for your generosity and gift-giving!
Wednesday marks the end of our Food Drive. Our eighth graders will lead us in prayer at our Thanksgiving Prayer Service which will take place in our gym at 9:00AM. After the service, First Marking Period Awards will be announced and students will receive ribbons. All parents are invited to attend the Thanksgiving Prayer Service.
The foods collected during our Food Drive will be dropped out at the Sacred Heart Food Pantry after our Prayer Service.
Wednesday, November 24th is a half-day so there will be a noon dismissal and there will be no Aftercare.
